The story so far…
It was a dark and stormy night, and University of Colorado Boulder freshman Theo Leakas was trying to come up with a way to connect local artists with one another. After getting his private pilot’s license at 18, he worked as a photographer with a very short stint as an independent photojournalist. Theo discovered his passion for marketing, creative direction, and working with other creatives during his first semester at college. It was then that he decided to start his own publication—an annual magazine interviewing, profiling, and showcasing the work of young local artists trying to make a name, and a career for themselves. One day, Theo hopes to work under a creative team changing the landscape of beautiful design and print in the world of publishing and fashion. He can be reached by email at theo@boulderartreview.com
